Here is what to know about gmagic.app before your first message.
All the current extension features: drafts, conversation context, your knowledge, an encrypted Drive vault and sync. Your first subscription starts with 30 days free. A card is required, and the plan costs USD 5 per month after the trial unless you cancel beforehand in Stripe. ChatGPT mode uses your account and its limits; optional API usage is billed separately. Any taxes are shown in Stripe.
Sign in or create a gmagic.app account, then start the trial from your dashboard and add a card in Stripe. The 30 days start when Stripe confirms subscription activation, rather than at registration. One trial is available with your first subscription only. Returning customers can subscribe for USD 5 per month. The dashboard will tell you if activation is unavailable.
Open Stripe billing management from your gmagic.app dashboard and cancel before the trial ends. Access remains until the end of that period, and the trial will not automatically switch to a paid plan. Without cancellation, you are charged USD 5 per month after 30 days. Removing the extension or signing out does not cancel your subscription.
ChatGPT uses the models and limits available on your account. You only need the Chrome extension. Sign in on OpenAI’s website with the code shown in the extension, without an AI key. Your account needs access to Codex and device-code login; availability and limits depend on OpenAI.
gmagic.app prepares a reply and saves it as a draft when you ask. You can edit every version. You send the final email manually in Gmail.
Import visits available received, sent and archived conversations, but creates a shortened index: up to the latest 12 messages per thread, with 12,000 characters each. It skips spam, trash, drafts and attachments. The base limit is 64 MiB of encrypted versions. It is a reply knowledge base, not a full email backup.
It searches Gmail and the unlocked knowledge base using the client’s address and subject keywords. You can include up to 8 additional threads in a reply. This is text search; it does not train a model on your mailbox.
The protected base is stored encrypted on your Drive and locally. To generate a reply, the panel decrypts selected content and sends it through the gmagic.app server to the AI provider. After you consent to connect ChatGPT, the server stores encrypted connection credentials along with account and payment information. It does not store generated conversation history. Signing out removes the active connection record; private data backups expire under the backup retention policy.
Yes, on another computer with Chrome, the same extension and Google account. Open the knowledge folder and unlock it with your password. Knowledge syncs; panel chats and drafts remain in its memory. Import works while the panel is open and unlocked.
Use your saved recovery key. Without the password or this key, the base cannot be decrypted. This version does not offer password changes. Keep the recovery key somewhere safe outside the base.
Not yet. Automatic labels and conversation grouping are possible next steps. The current version focuses on replies, context and protected knowledge.
The demo works without an account and uses fictional data. The current extension package is installed manually in Chrome. Real use requires the application owner to configure Google OAuth and the service server. The extension has not yet been published in the Chrome Web Store.
